St Margaret's High School: S3 skills for work courses

Tutor: (?name) looks lovely and relaxed.  So first of all you did your eye make-up remover, small circular movements around the eye, and cleansed the eye.  Then we used cleanser?  How many times did you cleanse the client’s ...

Student: Twice.

Tutor: Twice.  Can you remember what the first cleanser is called?

Student: Deep.

Tutor: Deep cleanse.  Well your first cleanse is actually called your superficial cleanse, and that is taking away just the initial make-up from your client’s face, or grime and dirt, and then the second cleanse is called the deep cleanse.  So after we cleanse what do you do after that?

Student: Tone.

Tutor: Tone, excellent.  And then did you have a mask for the client today.

Student: Yes.

Tutor: And how did you apply your mask?

Student: A brush.

Tutor: Mask brush.  And how long did you leave you mask on for?

Student: Five to ten minutes.

Tutor: Five to ten minutes, excellent, that is great.  And then how did you remove your mask?

Student: With sponges.

Tutor: Nice warm water with sponges, take the mask off.  And after you removed the mask what did you do then?

Student: Toning.

Tutor: Tone again, and is this the stage you are at now?

Student: Aye.

Tutor: Your toning? And after you have toned what do you plan to do then?

Student: Moisturise.

Tutor: Moisturise, excellent.  So that is what you would call a mini facial.

Tutor: Twelve minute cooking time remember; washing up in that time please.
