Co-Create is a pioneering initiative bringing arts education resources online for schools across Scotland through Glow. The project was set up to explore Glow’s potential to support innovative approaches to learning and teaching through the arts.

Co-Create has enabled artists, performers, writers and Scotland’s schools to work and learn together in new ways, developing practice and demonstrating the key role the arts and creativity play in supporting Curriculum for Excellence.

Throughout 2010 and into 2011, ten of Scotland’s leading arts organisations worked together with teachers, pupils and a range of partners to develop new approaches to teaching and learning using Glow.

The projects span the art forms, target a range of levels, user groups and curriculum areas, and involved 18 local authorities across Scotland.

They provide inspiration and examples of how the arts and Glow can support delivery of Curriculum for Excellence.

For more information visit the project blog and case studies on the Creativity Portal.  Glow users can also find information and resources in the Co-Create Glow Group.

Co-Create was funded through a partnership between Learning and Teaching Scotland and the Creative Scotland National Lottery Fund.
