Within the Orkney Islands Council, Glow has been phased in since October 2008. All services were adopted, with Glow Mail being the initial driver. All users have been provisioned with an account and progress and benefits with Glow are being seen in schools where the service has been picked up. The authority mentors are working alongside schools to ensure confident practitioners and schools are collaborating across the islands and Glow is being seen as a success in bringing users closer together.
