A Glow pilot began in May 2009 with the Mallaig Associated Schools Group. A further 80 schools have since had introductory training and rollout of this continues. Logins are available to all staff on request. Glow accounts for staff can be requested from the Fujitsu Service Desk who manage Glow user accounts on behalf on Highland. Pupils accounts will be made available to schools on application to the Fujitsu Service Desk.
