Reviewing your curriculum structures using 'Cloud Nine School'

Developing a strategic curriculum plan provides school staff with an opportunity to be aspirational, to think creatively, and to work out solutions in a practical way.

One tool to help staff with this process is Cloud Nine School.

What is Cloud Nine School?

Cloud Nine School (or Cloud Nine Learning Centre) is a concept developed by Education Scotland development officers to support schools and centres in reviewing curriculum structures.

It was created to stimulate thinking and to help schools and centres develop their own thoughts, ideas and aspirations for their establishment.

Cloud Nine Learning Centre, the school mentioned in this video, has been developed as a hypothetical example to illustrate the process of curriculum review and redesign in a school setting.

N.B. This example may be more relevant to staff in primary schools.
