Sectarianism has caused divisions, prejudice and hatred in Scotland for too long.
Education is key to erasing sectarianism and religious prejudice from the Scottish psyche. We all have our part to play in promoting religious equality and in forming responsible, global citizens of Scotland’s children and young people.
Scotland is a modern multi-faith and multicultural society. We are all modern Scots, regardless of background, and we want to live in a Scotland where we are able to live free from fear, bigotry, prejudice and discrimination - a Scotland built on the basis of mutual trust, respect, understanding, inclusion and equality.
