Excellent Learning

Hightae Primary (School roll 16) serves the village of Hightae, the hamlets of Heck, Smallholm and Greenhall and the surrounding rural area.

The school has 2 class teachers including the Head Teacher who is class committed for three days per week. There are visiting teachers for art, music, physical education and support for learning. There is a Classroom Assistant and 2 part-time Clerical Assistants. The school scored top marks in all five performance categories in a recent HMIe inspection. The workshop will exemplify:
