On the Money: Children's interviews with entrepreneurs

On the Money

On the Money

On the Money is a collection of stories from four of Scotland’s top children's authors, intended to help change the way young children think about money. They look at all sorts of things to do with money in fun and useful ways.

Children interview entrepreneur Tom Hunter

As suggested in the advice for teachers accompanying the stories, a follow-up activity to 'On the money' could be a pupil-led interview session with a successful local entrepreneur.

Tom Hunter was invited to Oakgrove Primary School, where he discussed with pupils enterprise and social responsibility.

Children interview author Nicola Morgan

Nicola Morgan – author of 'Charlie Fly and the Nice Dream' - visited the school to share her financial education and enterprise experiences with the pupils and to show how real-life situations had inspired her short story.
