This workshop was led by Brian Redman, who is the South of Scotland Teacher Network Co-ordinator for the Institute of Physics and Principal Teacher of Science at Selkirk High School.
Brian believes in the importance of allowing learners to explore and try out their ideas during hands-on practical investigation. He believes that in this way the teacher is able to help nudge learners towards correct models.
