Kinross High School and Kinross, Portmoak and Milnathort Primary schools worked on developing Victorian projects. Through this interdisciplinary work, pupils investigated and explored life in Kinross and around Loch Leven during Victorian times.
A variety of writing skills and genres of writing were developed, including note-making, newspaper articles, diary entries and reports.
A range of learning and teaching experiences was planned and delivered and close links were made with local experts, Perth Museum, Stanley Mills and the River Leven Trust.
The focus for development was Curriculum for Excellence planning and co-operative learning strategies.
