UNICEF Day for Change - 7 February

UNICEF Day for Change is a fundraising day, where school pupils get the chance to do something different in exchange for making a small donation to UNICEF.

UNICEF and schools have been working together on Day for Change for over 20 years. Schools make a change in their day and students, staff and parents make a donation to UNICEF for making that change. The change could be anything from holding a non-uniform day, to staff wearing fancy dress, pupils having different food for lunch - anything that makes the day different.

Each year UNICEF chooses a different country and a different theme. In 2013, Day for Change is all about education. Around 68 million children around the world still don't have access to education and UNICEF is working to change this.
