
You can't stop winter happening, but you can change the impact it has on you.
On 24 October 2011 the Scottish Government, in partnership with the British Red Cross, launched the 'Ready for Winter?' campaign, to help families, businesses and communities across Scotland prepare for winter.
The campaign provides advice on issues such as winter-proofing your home, preparing for severe weather, flooding, traveling in winter and the flu and how people can support the more vulnerable members of the community in winter time.
No date has been set for Getting Ready for Winter Week 2012 - this page will be updated as soon as that information is available.
