This revised national guidance is designed to facilitate good practice and enable children and young people with interrupted learning to enjoy and benefit from the opportunities afforded by Curriculum for Excellence. Its focus on Traveller families living in and visiting Scotland has been made possible by the contributions of Traveller Education Network colleagues. Other colleagues, from schools, Learning and Teaching Scotland, the HMI and the Scottish Government, have supported the Scottish Traveller Education Programme in gathering this information and advice for educators, and colleagues from other disciplines.
