Getting involved in Games Legacy

Games for Scotland

The first milestone in the journey towards Glasgow 2014 was the Delhi Handover ceremony on 14 October 2010 when Scotland took on the mantle of the Games from India at the end of the Delhi Games.

This was an exciting time and in local authorities all over the country there were Games for Scotland events and celebrations to engender pride in Scotland taking on the Games and to encourage people to get active and participate.
