
Interdisciplinary learning is an important element within Curriculum for Excellence. It constitutes one of the four contexts for learning in 'Building the Curriculum 3'.
Interdisciplinary learning can provide relevant, challenging and enjoyable learning experiences to meet the varied needs of children and young people.

This collaborative project involved the Primary 1, 2 and 3 classes and staff at Rhu Primary School, as well as parents and community partners.

The human body provided a stimulating context for this P6 science-focused interdisciplinary study.
