Understanding the curriculum as a whole

The curriculum is structured around all the experiences that are planned as part of learning and teaching. By recognising and planning learning around different contexts and experiences, the curriculum aims to make better connections across learning.

Experiences and outcomes

An introduction to the experiences and outcomes and how they are used to plan and deliver learning.

Interdisciplinary learning

Opportunities for personal achievement

Pupils need opportunities for achievements both in the classroom and beyond, giving them a sense of satisfaction and building motivation, resilience and confidence.

Curriculum areas and subjects
