How easy do you find it to communicate? Chatting to friends and family is easy, but what happens when you have to communicate in writing or give a talk?

This unit deals with the four major forms of communication: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. A good communicator is someone who is able to do all of these effectively. Find out about the importance of audience, form and function when you are writing and speaking. You can also learn about the differences between spoken and written forms of communication and practise the stylistic features of various kinds of writing.
