The resources on this website are intended for both teachers and learners.
On this website you will find materials for each of the SQA units within the revised Highers. Resources include:
All the animations and most of the video materials were specially commissioned and developed for this resource.
The teacher notes, learner activities and PowerPoint slides were developed following engagement with stakeholders.
The website is structured in a way that allows you to browse each section/subject by unit. It also gives you quick access (in the 'Learning and teaching' area within each subject/section) to the full list of video, animations and resources for your subject.
Within each unit, content statements from the SQA arrangements documents have been used to introduce individual topics/sub-sections and to provide reference for learners.
Users are encouraged to download the resources and adapt them to suit their own needs and circumstances. Reference should be made to the SQA 'Guidance on Learning and Teaching Approaches', which can be found in the National Course Specifications for each course.
Every effort has been made to trace all the copyright holders but if any have been inadvertently overlooked, the publishers will be pleased to make the necessary arrangements at the first opportunity.
