    Sets out the programmes and initiatives intended to deliver on the UK Government and FSA joint action plan.

  • Money Advice Service - policy development consultation

    Through its front-line contact with thousands of people every week, the Money Advice Service is able to maintain an up-to-date bank of knowledge on money issues and the needs of the public. It uses this knowledge, along wth research and evaluation, to respond to a wide range of consultations that affect policy decisions.

International policy and guidance

    In response to concerns over the adverse affects of low financial literacy levels, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) launched a comprehensive, high-level project on financial education in 2003.
