Partners with an interest in adult learning

  • Education Scotland - the principal curriculum body for Scotland, supporting the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence, assessment, community and lifelong learning and the innovative use of Glow and other learning technologies.

  • Learning Link Scotland - a network of voluntary sector organisations and individuals providing,  or interested in, adult education and learning.

  • NIACE - The NIACE (National Institute of Adult Continuing Education) website. It aims to encourage adults to engage in learning of all kinds.

  • Scotland’s Colleges - Scotland’s Colleges exists to support, represent and promote the Scottish college sector.

  • Scottish Government - Scottish Government is keen to support those working to improve financial capability with a focus on individuals, families and communities at greatest risk from the impact of poor financial decisions or at risk from financial crisis without some form of intervention. The Scottish Government funds FLO Scotland.

  • Scotland’s Learning Partnership - a national partnership of adult learners and providers in Scotland which helps to promote non-formal adult and family learning and lobbies on behalf of learners and providers.

  • Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland - The Chartered Banker Institute is the trading name of The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.

  • Chartered Institute of Housing - The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) is the professional body for people involved in housing and communities.

  • Citizens Advice Scotland - is the national umbrella body that provides information and other support services to the Citizens Advice Bureau in Scotland.

  • Employability and Tackling Poverty Learning Network - this website is one element of the Employability and Tackling Poverty Learning Network, which is facilitated by The Scottish Government.

  • Consumer Focus Scotland - Consumer Focus Scotland is the new statutory organisation campaigning for a fair deal for consumers in Scotland.

  • CoSLA - The Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, is the representative voice of Scottish local government, lobbying on behalf of its members – Scotland's 32 councils.

  • Credit Action - Credit Action is a national money education charity offering a range of resources, tools and training to help everybody handle their money well, and help others to do likewise.

  • Money Advice Scotland - promotes the development of free, independent, impartial and confidential money advice. The organisation also provides training and information on credit and debt issues.

  • Money Advice Service - The Money Advice Service gives free, independent money advice.

  • Office of Fair Trading - promotes and protects consumer interests throughout the UK and ensures that businesses are in open, fair and vigorous competition for the consumer’s custom.

  • Scottish Federation of Housing Associations - The SFHA is the national representative body for Scotland's housing associations and co-operatives.

  • Transact - Transact is a national forum for financial inclusion.

  • Young Scot - Young Scot is the national youth information and citizenship charity.
