Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2009
This Act, passed on 20 May 2009, is an update of the 2004 Act of the same name, and places duties on education authorities to provide for children with additional support needs. Amendments in the 2009 Act cover out of area placing requests, parental rights and provision of additional support for looked after children.
