The pupils of Our Lady and St Patrick’s High School in West Dunbartonshire glammed up the festival with a special performance of their catwalk show, Shadows & Light.
Shadows & Light was designed, created and performed by the students, who originally performed the show in June this year.
'It’s part of our three-year Schools of Ambition programme, which has the theme of creativity across the curriculum,' explained Gerry Kelly, principal teacher of art and design. 'As well as creativity, it helps to develop management and leadership skills in the students, and – most importantly – self-esteem.'
The next step is to develop creative thinking across the departments, and with this in mind, deputy headteacher Hugh Scullion is developing a residential leadership course for all year groups.
