Video case studies

The Hot Spot is a community hub based in Peterhead and is supported by Aberdeenshire Council’s Community Planning Partnership. CLD are a key delivery partner and they work with a number of agencies to improve the lives of the local community.

As part of Shetland Council’s CLD Service, this project is a social drop-in point for Speakers of Other Languages. It’s a place where people can get advice and information on local issues, practice English, access computers and the Internet and meet new people.

Fallin Community Enterprise is a community enterprise providing employment, training and volunteering opportunities to support the local community and protect the environment.

‘The Zone Initiative’ is a multifunctional community capacity building project providing a number of services including childcare, youth training and employability.
