Scottish Learning Festival

News item explaining that Education Scotland has published the Inspection Advice Note for session 2015-16 which supports colleagues in local authorities, schools and early learning and childcare settings with information on how inspections, carried out from August 2015 onwards, will take account of national expectations of progress in implementing Curriculum for Excellence.

  2. News item on a new resource for third sector organisations which will help them evaluate their performance and improve their services which has been launched by Education Scotland.

    This free, two-day event will provide an opportunity to explore and share innovative policy and practice from across Scotland and internationally through plenary sessions, workshops and visits to schools and learning centres. The conference will cover all areas of health and wellbeing: mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing; PE, physical activity and sport; relationships, sexual health and parenthood; substance misuse; food and health; and planning for choices and changes.
